Lord, open my lips, *

Cry with joy to God our Savior

Come, let us sing praise to the LORD. *
Shout with joy to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us enter His presence with a song of thanksgiving, *
    singing joyful songs to Him.

[ANT]

For the LORD is a great God, *
and the great king above all gods.
In His hand are the depths of the earth, *
and the mountain peaks are His also.
The sea is His for He made it, *
the dry land His hands formed.

[ANT]

Come, let us bow down and worship. *
LORDus kneel before the LORD our maker,
for He is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, *
and the flock of His hand.

[ANT]

Today, will you hear His voice?
"Do not harden your hearts, *
as at Meribah and during the temptation in the wilderness,
where your ancestors tested and provoked Me, *
although they were witness to My work."

[ANT]

"Forty years that generation disgusted me",
and I said, "They are a people whose hearts go astray, *
and they do not know my ways."
So I swore in my anger, *
"Never shall they enter into My rest."

[ANT]

Gloria

Glory to the Father, to the Son,
    and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now,
    and will be forever.
Amen
Alleluia

Great are the works of the Lord.

To him who struck down the firstborns of Egypt, *
    for His mercy endures forever,
and brought Israel out from their midst, *
    for His mercy endures forever,
with a strong hand and outstretched arm, *
    for His mercy endures forever.

To him who split the Red Sea in two, *
    for His mercy endures forever,
and drew Israel through the midst of it, *
    for His mercy endures forever,
then He threw Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea, *
    for His mercy endures forever.

To him who led His people through the wilderness, *
    for His mercy endures forever.
Who struck down great kings, *
    for His mercy endures forever,
and brought death to the mighty kings, *
    for His mercy endures forever,
Shion, king of the Amorites, *
    for His mercy endures forever,
and Og, king of Bashan, *
    for His mercy endures forever,
and gave their land as inheritance, *
    for His mercy endures forever.
An inheritance for His servant Israel, *
    for His mercy endures forever.

To Him who remembered us in our humiliation, *
    for His mercy endures forever,
and who saved us from our enemies, *
    for His mercy endures forever.
To Him who gives food to every living thing, *
    for His mercy endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of heaven, *
    for His mercy endures forever.

God the Savior

Antiphon

He chose us in Christ * before the world began, that we would be holy and without blame before God, in love.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, *
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing, in the heavenly places, in Christ.
For He chose us, in Him, before the world began,
that we would be holy and blameless, *
present before Him in his love.
He always knew we would be his adopted children
    through Jesus Christ, *
because it is His good pleasure and desire.
To the praise of his glorious grace, *
that he freely gave to us in the Beloved Son.
In Him we have redemption, by His blood, *
    the forgiveness of sins.
According to the riches of His grace,
which He lavished upon us, *
    with all wisdom and understanding.
He made known to us the mystery of his will, *
according to his good pleasure, that he set forth in Christ.
His plan for the fullness of times *
is to unite all things together in Christ,
all things in the heavens, *
and the things of the earth.

Gloria

Glory to the Father, to the Son,

As it was in the beginning, is now,

Reading

First Epistle to the Church in Thessaloniki 3:12-13

May the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love for each other and for everyone. Just as our love does for you. So that He may strengthen your hearts, making them blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all Gods people.

Before You, Lord, may our prayers rise.
Before You, Lord, * may our prayers rise.
Like incense into Your presence.
Before You, Lord, * may our prayers rise.
Glory to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Before You, Lord, * may our prayers rise.

My Soul Magnifies
·
UMB-EN
Antiphon
Ant.

My soul will forever * exalt you, my God.

My soul magnifies the greatness of the Lord; *
my spirit bursts, rejoicing in God my Savior.
For He knew the humility of His servant. *
From today all generations will call me blessed.

The Almighty has done great things for me, *
    and holy is His name.

He has mercy for those who fear Him, *
    from generation to generation.
He has shown the strength of His arm, *
and scattered the proud for the thoughts of their hearts.

He has torn the mighty from their thrones, *
    and lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things, *
and sent the rich away empty.

He has given help to His servant Israel, *
and remembered His promise of mercy.
The promise made to our ancestors, *
to Abraham and His children forever.

Lords Prayer

Our Father, who is in heaven,
    hallowed be Your Name.

    Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.

as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil;
for the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are Yours without end.
