Lord, open my lips, *
and my mouth will proclaim Your praise.

Antiphon
Ant.

The great King is our Lord. Come, let us sing Him praise.

Come, let us sing praise to the LORD. *
Shout with joy to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us enter His presence with a song of thanksgiving, *
    singing joyful songs to Him.

Antiphon
Ant.

The great King is our Lord. Come, let us sing Him praise.

For the LORD is a great God, *
and the great King above all gods.
In His hand are the depths of the earth, *
and the mountain peaks are His as well.
The sea is His for He made it, *
His hands formed the dry land.

Antiphon
Ant.

The great King is our Lord. Come, let us sing Him praise.

Come, let us bow down and worship. *
LORDus kneel before the LORD our maker,
for He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, *
and the flock of His hand.

Antiphon
Ant.

The great King is our Lord. Come, let us sing Him praise.

Today, will you hear His voice?
"Do not harden your hearts, *
as at Meribah and during the temptation in the wilderness,
where your ancestors tested and provoked Me, *
although they were witness to My work."

Antiphon
Ant.

The great King is our Lord. Come, let us sing Him praise.

"Forty years that generation disgusted Me",
and I said, "They are a people whose hearts go astray, *
and they do not know My ways."
So I swore in My anger, *
"Never shall they enter into My rest."

Antiphon
Ant.

The great King is our Lord. Come, let us sing Him praise.

Psalm 137

By the Rivers of Babylon
·
UMB-EN
Antiphon
Ant.

Sing for us! * Sing us one of the songs of Zion!

There, by the rivers of Babylon, we sat down and wept *
    when we remembered Zion.
Upon and within the willows *
    we hung up our harps.

For it was there our captors *
    demanded songs from us.
There our tormentors asked for joyful songs, *
"Sing us one of the songs of Zion!"

How do we sing the LORD's song *
    in a foreign land?
If I forget you, Jerusalem, *
let my right hand forget me.
Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth, *
if I do not remember you,
if I do not exalt Jerusalem *
    above my greatest joy.

Gloria

Glory to the Father, to the Son,
    and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now,
    and will be forever.
Amen
Alleluia

Psalm 138

I will Praise You
·
UMB-EN
Antiphon
Ant.

In the presence * of angels, I will sing to You, my God.

I will praise You with all my heart. *
I will sing Your praises before the gods.
I will bow down towards Your holy temple,
and will praise Your Name *
for Your mercy and Your truth.
For above all things, You have exalted *
    Your Name and Your word.

On the day I called, You answered me; *
You put great strength in my soul.
All the kings of the earth, LORD, will praise you, *
when they hear the words of Your mouth.
And they will sing of the ways of the LORD, *
for the glory of the LORD is great.
For the LORD is exalted,
yet He looks after the lowly, *
and the haughty He knows from afar.

Though I walk amidst trouble, You preserve my life.
Your hand stretches out against the wrath of my enemies, *
and You will save me with Your right hand.
The LORD will fulfill His purposes for me.
LORD, your faithful love has no end, *
do not abandon the works of Your hands.

Gloria

Glory to the Father, to the Son,
    and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now,
    and will be forever.
Amen
Alleluia

In the presence * of angels, I will sing to You, my God.

Worthy are You, Lord
·
UMB-EN
Antiphon

Worthy is the Lamb, * who was slaughtered and rose again for us. To take the scroll and to break the seals.

Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, *
to receive glory, and honor, and power.
For You created all things, *
and it was by Your will they existed and were created.

Worthy are You, Lord, to take the scroll *
    and to break its seals.
For You were slaughtered.
You redeemed them for God by Your blood, *
from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation.
You have made them into a kingdom and priests to our God, *
and they will reign upon the earth.

Worthy is the Lamb that was slaughtered
to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, *
and might, and glory, and honor, and blessing.

Gloria

Glory to the Father, to the Son,
    and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now,
    and will be forever.
Amen

My Soul Magnifies
·
UMB-EN
Antiphon
Ant.

The Lord knew * my humility, and the Almighty has done great things for me.

My soul magnifies the greatness of the Lord; *
my spirit bursts, rejoicing in God my Savior.
For He knew the humility of His servant. *
From today all generations will call me blessed.

The Almighty has done great things for me, *
    and holy is His name.

He has mercy for those who fear Him, *
    from generation to generation.
He has shown the strength of His arm, *
and scattered the proud for the thoughts of their hearts.

He has torn the mighty from their thrones, *
    and lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things, *
and sent the rich away empty.

He has given help to His servant Israel, *
and remembered His promise of mercy.
The promise made to our ancestors, *
to Abraham and His children forever.

As it was in the beginning, is now,
    and will be forever.

Intercessory Prayers of Petition

Glorify and pray with sincere hearts to Christ, who gives His firmness and strength to His people:
Lord hear us and we will praise You forever.
Christ, our strength, You have called Your faithful to Your truth,
    – in Your mercy, give us faith and perseverance.
Lord hear us and we will praise You forever.
Lord, with Your heart of peace, direct those with power to govern
    – inspiring in them courage and wisdom to lead us into peace.
Lord hear us and we will praise You forever.
With the little You had, You satisfied the crowds by multiplying the bread,
    – so teach us to use our riches to help the hungry and needy.
Lord hear us and we will praise You forever.
Move those wielding power to not only care for their own people and lands,
    – but to respect everyone, care for all people, and protect our shared planet.
Lord hear us and we will praise You forever.
Grant our siblings in Christ who have fallen asleep the resurrection and blessings
    – when You come to be glorified in all things.
Lord hear us and we will praise You forever.

Lords Prayer

Our Father, who is in heaven,
    hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come,
    Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil;
for the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are Yours without end.
Amen

Concluding Prayer

Praying in Your presence, Lord, we implore Your mercies. * So that we might continuously meditate on them in our hearts and confess with our lips what You have done for us through Jesus Christ.

Blessing

May the Lord bless us,
    keep us from all evil,
and bring us to everlasting life.
Amen
